When We Are Closed

In the event of a medical emergency outside normal surgery hours, please ring the surgery and you will be given full details of what procedures to follow. The Out Of Hours service is provided by Seldoc, as deputising service outside normal hours where a doctor is always available for you to seek advice or arrange a visit if that becomes necessary.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Surgery Opening Times

An appointment system is in operation and the surgery should be contacted in person for appointments from 8.00am on the day or pre-booked in advance.

For routine matters please contact the surgery between 11am and 2pm.

Extended Hours

The surgery is now offering extended hours between 7am and 8am Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and Friday and also on Saturday mornings for patients who find it difficult to attend at our core opening times i.e. patients who work long hours or work some distance away. Please ask at reception if you need to book an appointment during these times.

Green Wrythe Surgery will be closed on the following bank holidays in 2019

• New Year's Day: Tuesday, January 1.

• Good Friday: Friday, April 19.

• Easter Monday: Monday, April 22

• Early May bank holiday: Monday, May 6

• Spring bank holiday: Monday, May 27.

• Summer bank holiday: Monday, August 26.

• Christmas Day: Wednesday, December 25.

• Boxing Day: Thursday, December 26.
