No walk-in clinic

Dr Said is currently on annual leave. There will be no walk-in clinic until 29th November.

Patient Accurx Link

We are now offering Accurx Patient Triage to all registered patients for non-urgent medical and admin queries. Please click the below button, complete the form and submit. This will then be passed onto the appropriate staff member who will reply within 4 working days with advice. This is NOT to be used for urgent queries.

Hero Health

We are now using the Hero Health link to book flu vaccinations. Please try to use this link to book rather than calling. There is various availability for different days/times over the next couple of weeks. If you cannot see appointments please let us know and we will upload more.

Improvements In The Surgery

 Given the data we have received regarding telephone answering at the surgery, we have now made changes to try and alleviate the high call volumes first thing at 8am. Dr Said will still be running his walk-in clinic but we have altered the registration time to 7.30am. Patients can arrive from this time and be booked in. The clinic will start at 8am. In addition, we will now have 4 members of staff answering the phones at peak times in the mornings, to ensure calls get answered quicker.

Polio Boosters

As you may be aware all children aged 1 - 9 will be offered a Polio Booster by the NHS. St Nicholas Centre in Sutton are contracted to vaccinate 5 - 9 year olds. You can book by clicking here

Green Wrythe are happy to vaccinate 1 - 4 year olds at the GP Surgery if they have not received a polio vaccination within the last 12 months. We aim to invite all eligible children by the end of September. We will be inviting by text or letter. Please wait until we contact you before you call.

Flu Vaccinations

Our flu stock should be arriving at the end of September 2022. Patients aged 65+ and 18 - 64 with a long-term health condition are eligible. Patients aged 50 - 64 will become eligible from the 15th October. We cannot vaccinate you before this date if you have no underlying health conditions.

The following flu clinics have been created, please call to book:

Saturday 1st October 8.30am - 11am (appointments and walk-in)

Thursday 6th October 10am - 12pm (appointment only)

Tuesday 11th October 3.30pm - 5.30pm (appointment only)

Thursday 27th September 10am - 12pm (appointment only)

Our nurses are also happy to vaccinate you if you are visiting them for another health issue.

Autumn Boosters

We will not be running Covid Clinics at the GP Surgery. Instead visit the NHS Covid website or call 119 to book. Not every one is eligible for this booster - please enquire online or by calling 119.

Nurse Julie wins award!

All the staff are extremely proud of Julie Walker who today has won the award for "Nurse of the year" in Sutton. She is a credit to our surgery and we are very lucky to have her as part of our team! 

Physician Assosciate Ruari Blake

Unfortunately Ruari will be leaving our practice on 14/6/22 we wish him the best of luck in his new job and we are sure the staff and patients will miss him greatly. We will be employing a new staff member in due course.

 

Free NHS Health Check:

Are you aged between 40 and 74 and have no long term health conditions? You could be eligible for a free NHS health check. Please call us on 0203 770 6071 for more details.

Health Coach:

We now have Anthea working with us who is a Health Coach. She can deal with issues such as weight management, exercise advice and general lifestyle changes. 

Face to face appointments:

Please inform reception when booking if you require a face to face or telephone appointment.

   

Covid 19 Symptoms:

Please do not attend the surgery if you have any Covid19 symptoms

 

Text Messaging:

We use a text messaging service called Accurx. This will be used in future for vaccination bookings, Asthma questionnaires, Collecting other data to add onto your clinical system. The text will come from "GWS" if you have any queries please call us on 0203 770 6071 and we will be happy to help you with anything.  Text reminders are now turned on for appointments.

 

Cancelling appointments:

Please can you contact us on 0203 770 6071 to cancel any appointments you cannot make as we can give this appointment to another patient. We have a voicemail specifically for this so you do not need to hold.
