Spare Flu Vaccinations

Due to poor uptake we have lots of flu vaccinations left in our fridge that we will sadly have to dispose of at the end of March when they expire. We have agreed that any adults 18 or over, who are not normally eligible can have a free flu vaccination as a one-off this year if they would like it. This will be not be this case for on-going years. If you are eligible and not yet had one please contact us to book also.

Emanuel - New Physician Assosciate

Emanuel started working with us at the beginning of the month, replacing Ruari who left a few months ago. Emanuel cannot prescribe medication, but can work under the Direction of a GP (who can do the prescription for him)

Emanuel can deal with acute, new problems such as Tonsilitis, urine infections, chest infections. Our receptionists may ask your problem so that we can direct you to the appropriate clinician. Unfortunately, if we do not know the issue then we cannot book with Emanuel.

Welcome to the team Emanuel!

Improvements In The Surgery

Dr Said will still be running his walk-in clinic but we have altered the registration time to 7.30am. Patients can arrive from this time and be booked in. The clinic will start at 8am. In addition, we will now have 4 members of staff answering the phones at peak times in the mornings, to ensure calls get answered quicker.
