Text Messaging

We use a text messaging service called Accurx. This will be used in future for vaccination bookings, Asthma questionnaires, Collecting other data to add onto your clinical system. The text will come from "GWS" if you have any queries please call us on 0203 770 6071 and we will be happy to help you with anything.  Text reminders are now turned on for appointments.

 

Cancelling appointments

Please can you contact us on 0203 770 6071 to cancel any appointments you cannot make as we can give this appointment to another patient. We have a voicemail specifically for this so you do not need to hold.

When We Are Closed

In the event of a medical emergency outside normal surgery hours, please ring the surgery and you will be given full details of what procedures to follow. The Out Of Hours service is provided by Seldoc which is a service outside normal hours where a doctor is always available for you to seek advice or arrange a visit if that becomes necessary.

Extra GP services on weekends and bank holidays On weekends and bank holidays from Saturday 18 December until Sunday 16 January, 8am to 8pm, you can call 0333 332 6570 and selection option X [insert option as shown on page 1] if you need urgent help for a non-life-threatening condition. GP practices in (borough) will be providing extra appointments on weekends and bank holidays from Saturday 18 December 2021 until Sunday 16 January 2022. When you call the number, you will be assessed by a clinician and offered a suitable appointment or advice if required. This may be a video or face to face appointment. Outside of these hours please call 111. Don’t forget that you can also go to your local pharmacy for non-urgent health advice. Please only call 999 if you believe there is a life-threatening emergency.
