Water Machine
We discussed the possibility of having a water machine located in the reception area for the patients. We currently have one in the office. If a patient feels unwell they are able to ask for a glass of water. We are unable to move this into reception in case the water spills and causes accidents.
Notice Board
It has been noted that a lot of the notices/posters on the board are either out of date or irrelevant. We will attempt to try and clear this within the next few days and dispose of any out of adverts. We will try to space out the remaining ones so that they are easier to read.
Flu Injections
There is a change in the flu vaccinations this year. There are two different types of injections this year – one for the over 65’s and one for the under 65’s. We have started the clinics for this now and there are posters/advertisements in the reception area informing patients of this.
Pam Howe
Pam Howe – Sutton Health Watch is keen to attend our PPG meetings. Marion will be contacting her to see if she can attend our next meeting.
Car Park Access
There are still talks about a pathway through the car park which would make access easier. There is no date yet about when this will happen.
Scooters
Scooters are no longer being allowed into the surgery
New Uniform
We have recently purchased new work blouses for Reception/Admin. We have received lovely feedback from patients who like the new uniform.
CQC
There is no planned visit for the CQC in the near future. Once a year they will send a template for us to complete and send back.
Results
The last results from June/July are that 53% of patients found it easier to get through on the phone. They also found receptionists very helpful. We will try to improve further.
Other Topics
Feedback is that receptionists answer the phone beautifully and are always very helpful.
Date of next meeting
6th December and we will be supplying mince pies!
