Face to face appointments

Text Messaging

We use a text messaging service called Accurx. This will be used in future for vaccination bookings, Asthma questionnaires, Collecting other data to add onto your clinical system. The text will come from "GWS" if you have any queries please call us on 0203 770 6071 and we will be happy to help you with anything.  Text reminders are now turned on for appointments.

 

Cancelling appointments

Please can you contact us on 0203 770 6071 to cancel any appointments you cannot make as we can give this appointment to another patient. We have a voicemail specifically for this so you do not need to hold.

Blood Tests:

Blood test appointments must be pre-booked whether you have them at the GP Surgery or at St Helier Hospital. Please visit the St Helier website to book. You must have a blood form to take with you.

X-Rays:

St Helier Hospital and Jubilee Health Centre are our local places who will carry out these tests for you. It is by walk in only. Please contact them for opening times. Results will be available after 7 days.

Cervical Screening Programme:

We offer appointments 7 days a week for smears (including the HUB) to ensure that patients can have an appointment that fits around their day. This is a very important test that should be carried out every 3/5 years depending on your age. As soon as you receive your reminder please book. We understand some people may wish to opt out - please ask for a disclaimer form at reception and reminders will stop.

Other Tests ie- scans, scopes

Our secretary will send your referral within a few days of the GP requesting it. Please allow a few weeks to receive an appointment.

Receiving Results:

Please call us on 0203 770 6071 after 11am and our reception team will happily convey these results to you after the GP has commented. If you need to talk to a GP for more details an appointment can be booked in advance for you. 

We can only give results to the patient (parents if child is under 16) due to confidenality.
